Changes in the staff have been recorded in this report in the sections
dealing with the duties of the Officers concerned. Thus it has been explained
that Mr. C. J. Wright was promoted to the position of Senior Sanitary
Inspector upon the retirement of Mr. J. H. Pearson, who retired in the early
part of the year. Mr. Pearson had been in the service of this Council for
twenty-seven years, and the best wishes his colleagues go with him in his
retirement.
The re-arrangements of the staff at the Dental Hospital that have been
described in the appropriate section were of a temporary nature, and at the
time of writing the re-organization of the staff is engaging the attention of
the Health Committee.
