5.—Staff engaged on housing work, with, briefly, the duties of each officer:—
So much of the time of the Medical Officer of Health, Senior Inspector, eleven Sanitary
Inspectors and five Clerks as may be necessary. The duties are as required under
the various Acts relating to the Health and Housing. In addition, it may be mentioned
that the services of the Borough Surveyor and his staff, together with those
of one Superintendent, a Caretaker, an Assistant Caretaker, and eight workmen,
with the necessary clerical assistance, are required in connection with some 394
dwellings for the working class, which are now the property of the Borough Council.
