Acts, 468 in connection with the work under the Factory and Workshops Acts,
9,953 on various matters connected with infectious disease, verminous cases and
disinfection, and 950 agendas and reports concerning the work of the Department.
I have again to place on record my satisfaction as to the work done by the
officers of the Department, and also my cordial appreciation of the valuable
assistance in connection with my work rendered by Mr. Firth and the other
members of the sanitary Staff, especially during my absence through illness. I
have also to thank the Chairman and Members of the Health Committee and the
Council for their kind consideration and help in connection with the work of the
Department during the year.
