DISINFECTION
The steam disinfection plants situated at Waldo Road,
Bromley, and Crofton Road, Orpington, were in use for the
disinfection of clothing, bedding, etc., these articles being collected
in specially constructed vehicles, from domestic premises and
hospitals. Articles likely to be damaged by submission to a steam
disinfection process were appropriately dealt with by chemical
means.
