Public Health Prevention of Tuberculosis Regulations 1925.
Section 172, Public Health Act, 1936.
No action was taken by the Local Authority under these
regulations during 1967.
Typhoid Fever
One case of Typhoid Fever in a male in the 35/45 years age
group was notified during the year. This man had been in contact
with a large number of persons who travelled in the course of
their employment in many different countries and it was concluded
the infection had been acquired by this means.
Whooping Cough
Notifications of this disease showed a sharp increase in 1967,
two hundred and eighteen cases being notified compared with one
hundred and thirteen in the previous year.
