Closing Orders Determined.
The following Closing Orders were determined, work having
been satisfactorily completed to render premises fit for occupation:

1966. 69a, Church Road, Upper Norwood, S.E.19. (House).
1967. 3, Thicket Road, Anerley, S.E.20. (Basement).
In addition to the Housing work set out above, serious consideration
has been given in the past three years to the special
problems in Penge and North-West Beckenham. This area contains
many houses of considerable age (up to 100 years), many of which
are in various stages of disrepair. There are a considerable number
capable of improvement, and many in multiple occupation in which
amenities fall short of modern standards.
