MEAT INSPECTION
Annual licences were granted to 8 slaughtermen and the
licence for one private slaughterhouse was also renewed during
the year.
The carcases of all animals slaughtered within the Borough
were inspected and regular routine visits and inspections were
made to distributing depots and retail butchers' shops.

FOOD COMPLAINTS
103 complaints were received concerning the sale of food
containing extraneous matter or in a decomposed or mouldy
condition.
