Forty-six inspections and re-inspections were made by the
Inspectors. Four nuisances were found and at the end of the
year two had been remedied.
Complaints were received regarding the emission of grit from
the Works of the South Eastern Gas Board. Grit arrestors have
now been installed by the Board and the nuisance appears to
have been abated.
