SECTION E.
INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOODS.
FOOD SAMPLING.
During the past year the Sanitary Inspectors continued to
give particular attention to this most important work of safeguarding
the food supply of the Borough. The success or failure
of this service depends enormously on the assistance and cooperation
given us by the traders and retailers, and their
unfailing helpfulness has been greatly appreciated.
In addition to the samples taken for analysis under the provisions
of the Food and Drugs Act, 1938, samples were also taken
for bacteriological examination, and full details are given in the
following tables.

FOOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1938.
