Some increase in unclcanllness is reflected through the
tabulated figures of nodical inspections and clinic treatments
for skin troubles. Energetic measures to cope with scabies
and impetigo Infections were undertaken by the Clinic Staff
and as a result the numbers attending for these treatments
were largely diminished. Cleanliness plays a large part in
the measures to be taken to prevent scabies - dirty clothing
harbours the parasite, and it is therefore essential that,
clothing worn next the skin is clean.
