RETAIL MARKET.
The Retail Market is held on Thursdays at the Car
Park, Station Road, under the control of the Market
Superintendent. The administrative supervision is under
the Health Committee.
It is interesting to note that the receipts of 1938 are
£115 14s. 6d. in excess of the total for the previous year,
and the average per month has advanced from £45 7s. 6d.
to £55 0s. 5d.
This may be taken as evidence ot the still increasing popularity of the Market with the shopping public.
