The Health Visitor paid 325 visits to tubercular
patients during 1936, giving advice on the care of the
patients and on the principles that make for fitness in the
contacts.
Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations,
1925.
No occasion arose during the year to take action under
the above-mentioned Regulations, which relate to persons
suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis employed in the
milk trade.
Public Health Act, 1925, Section 62.
It was not necessary to enforce the above-mentioned
Section which relates to the compulsory removal to a
hospital of persons suffering from tuberculosis in serious
infectious state.
Tuberculosis Dispensary.
Dr. Edelston, Tuberculosis Officer, has kindly
furnished me with the following brief summary of the
work carried out at the Dispensary during 1936:—
