3. Eye Clinic.
4. Orthopaedic Clinic.
5. Ultra Violet Ray Clinic.

9. Child Welfare Centre (Plaistow Area).
Welfare Centres are provided for the areas of:—
1. Bromley Common.
2. Burnt Ash.
3. Plaistow.
4. Shortlands.
5. Widmore.
6. Hayes and Keston.
Each centre is held weekly, with the exceptions of
Bromley Common and Burnt Ash where two sessions are
held each week, and at Hayes and Keston Centre a session
is held once a fortnight. Full particulars of each centre
appear under Part III., Maternity and Child Welfare, of
this Report.
The additional welfare centre session at Bromley
Common came into operation as from 1st April, 1933, and
has done much to lessen the congestion at this centre.
When the auxiliary School Clinic is established at
Bromley Common it is hoped that the long standing
problem of a clinic within easy access for the ever
increasing population of the southernmost portion of the
Borough will be solved.
The extension of the weighing room at the School
Clinic, Station Road, remains to be dealt with in order to
overcome the difficulties and overcrowding, which at the
present time seriously impede the work of the Plaistow
Welfare Centre.
