The easy access to London Hospitals precludes the necessity
for extensive institutional facilities for Bromley, but there
is need for extension in certain directions, one of which is
an observation ward for ailing babies.
(2) AMBULANCE FACILITIES.—The Local Authority
provides an effective ambulance service for accident cases and
for removal of cases to and from hospitals.
The Infectious Disease Ambulance is provided by the
Bromley and Beckenham Joint Hospital Board.
