FOOD HYGIENE
The importance attaching to the inspection of food premises has always
been considered high in the list of environmental functions and the supervision
of these premises has been maintained. Their condition, over the
whole of the Urban District can be considered extremely good.
Food Inspections:

The following table shows the amount of food condemned during the year under review, but does not include meat condemned at the Slaughterhouse.

19 ice-cream samples were taken during the year under review, and the
results of these, which were satisfactory, are shown in the provision grade
below:—
6 ice lollies were also examined, 5 of which were satisfactory, and 1
which was suspicious.
