FOOD INSPECTION
Regular inspections of all types of food premises continued throughout the whole year and where action needed to be taken this was done, in the form of advice, sometimes by notice and reports to the Public Health Committee in cases where authority for legal action for non compliance was needed.

New certificates of registration were granted to three premises during
the year for the sale and storage of ice-cream.
The total number of premises registered for the manufacture of preserved
foods is 22 and the total number of premises registered for the sale of
ice-cream is 70.
Four mobile vehicles are registered under the Middlesex County Council
Act for the sale of ice-cream.
