(b) Food and Drugs Act, 1955, Section 16.
There are 11 premises registered for the manufacture of Ice
Cream in the district and 150 premises registered for retailing
Ice Cream. During the year 59 visits were paid to these premises.
Also 46 premises are registered under this Section for the
preparation or manufacture of sausages or potted, pressed, pickled
or preserved food intended for sale. Visits to these premises
during the year numbered 276.

Thirty hawkers of food in the Borough are registered.
