INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.

(a) Milk Supply.

The following licences for the sale of milk under special designations have been granted.

Supplementary Licences to sell milk from premises which are outside the area of the Licensing Authority.

(b) Ice Cream.
There are 8 premises registered for the manufacture of Ice Cream
in the district, and 76 premises registered for retailing Ice Cream.
During the year, 64 visits were paid to these premises, and 41
samples were submitted for bacteriological examination. Of these
samples:—
27 were Grade I. 9 were Grade II.
— were Grade III. 5 were Grade IV.

(c) Meat and Other Foods.

The undermentioned foodstuffs were certified as unfit for human consumption during the year:—
