War-time Day Nursery.
In June a War-time Day Nursery with accommodation for
forty children of mothers engaged on war work was opened in the
disused St. Michael's Infant School in Bounds Green Road, which
was adapted for the purpose. The accommodation provided has
been found inadequate for the needs of the community, and a
second War-time Day Nursery is in course of erection in White
Hart Lane.
