Artificial Sunlight Treatment.—Provided at the North Middlesex
County Hospital, under an agreement with the Middlesex County
Council, at a charge of Is. per child visit, and at the Royal
Northern Hospftal at the same charge.
Tuberculosis Dispensary.—A dispensary is provided by the
Middlesex County Council at No-. 10, Alexandra Road, Hornsey.
Treatment Centres for Venereal Diseases.—Treatment Centres
are provided at the Prince of Wales's Hospital, Tottenham, and the
Royal Northern Hospital, Holloway, both of which are within a
few miles of this borough.
MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE.
The number of live births registered during 1935 as belonging
to Wood Green was 570 according to the information supplied by
the Registrar-General. The number of births registered in the
Borough during the year was 491, and the percentage notified
under the Notification of Births Act was 95.9. The number of
stillbirths registered was 22 and the number notified 21.
Child Welfare Centres.
Maternity and Child Welfare Clinics were held at the Centre
in White Hart Lane on Monday afternoons, Wednesday mornings
and afternoons and Friday mornings, and in the Hall attached
