During the years 1921 to 1925 inclusive, 2,643 houses and
13,616 rooms have been inspected under the system of House-toHouse
Inspection.
Rent Restriction Acts.
Five certificates under the above were granted during 1925,
two of which were subsequently cancelled on completion of the
necessary repairs.
INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
(a) Milk Supply.
The greater part of the Milk Supply in this District is in the
hands of one combine, who have installed new plant and otherwise
are taking measures to ensure a satisfactory standard of cleanliness
and purity.
