The Nursing Service is supported by voluntary contributions
from various organisations in the District and a very substantial
allowance from the Charity Trustees. A small charge is made for
the nurses' visits, as no part of the cost of the Service can be derived
from the Rates.
Both the nurses are kept well employed, and their services are
much appreciated throughout the District.

*
It has not been found necessary to appoint a special nurse for
nursing patients suffering from Infectious Disease.
Midwives.
