HOSPITALS.
(1) Tuberculosis.
These are provided by the Middlesex County Council and are
dealt with from the Dispensary in Alexandra Road, just outside
our boundary, but which is quite convenient for the whole of the
District of Wood Green.
(2) Maternity.
An agreement has been entered into with the Guardians of the
Edmonton Union to receive confinement cases into their Maternity
Ward at the North Middlesex Hospital. Arrangements are also
made with the City of London Maternity Hospital in cases of
necessity.
(3) Children.
Special arrangements are made, where necessary for treatment,
and in these cases beds have always been found for the patients.
The Hospitals chiefly concerned were the Great Ormond Street
Hospital for Sick Children, the North Middlesex Hospital and the
Royal Northern Hospital.
