Milk Supply
There is one Registered Cowkeeper in the district, but no
cows have been kept for some years.
There are 29 purveyors of milk. During the year there have
been 2 applications for registration by purveyors of milk, both
being for change of occupiers of premises.
They are periodically inspected, and on the whole kept in a
satisfactory condition, no infectious or other disease has been
traced to the milk supply.
Bakehouses.
All the bakehouses (20) have been periodically inspected during
the year.
There is one underground bakehouse in the district, certified
by the Sanitary Authority.
Ice Cream.
There are 68 Ice Cream premises in the district, most of which
are small sweet shops, and all of which have been regularly
inspected.
Fried Fish Shops.
There are 11 Fried Fish shops in the district, all of which have
been periodically inspected, and are, for the most part, maintained
in a satisfactory condition.
