THE SIXTEENTH ANNUAL REPORT
for the
Year ending 31st December, 1935,
on the
HEALTH OF PUPILS ATTENDING SECONDARY
AND TRADE SCHOOLS IN WILLESDEN
Giving the Tables required by the Board of Education.
Secondary and Trade Schools are under the control of the Middlesex County Council.
Medical Inspection has been carried out at the Secondary and Trade Schools, by agreement
with the Middlesex County Council, in accordance with the arrangements set out in the 1930
Annual Report. Four additional Schools were included in the Scheme during the year—The Willesden
Polytechnic Engineering Trade School, The Willesden School of Art, Convent of Jesus and Mary, and
Brondesbury and Kilburn High School.
The Middlesex County Council's Scheme for Dental Inspection and Treatment of Dental Defects
and for Ophthalmic Treatment referred to in previous reports came into operation during 1935.
Secondary and Trade School Pupils are now inspected annually by the Council's Dental Surgeons, and
Dental and Ophthalmic Treatment are available at the Council's Health Centres.
