THE THIRD ANNUAL REPORT
for the
Year ending 31st December, 1932,
on the
HEALTH OF PATIENTS ATTENDING THE MIDDLESEX
COUNTY COUNCIL OCCUPATION CENTRE FOR
MENTALLY DEFECTIVES, BULLER ROAD, WILLESDEN.
During the year the Council continued at the request of the Middlesex County Council to carry
out the following —
1. Medical inspection annually of every patient attending the Centre.
2. The Medical inspection of every patient admitted within at least one month after
admission.
3. The treatment available at the Willesden Health Centres to be available and provided
if required for patients attending the occupation centre.
The Middlesex County Council is charged at the rate of 2s. per inspection and 3s. per attendance
at the Health Centres. This latter charge does not include the provision of surgical instruments,
spectacles, nutritive foods or hospital treatment.
During the year 20 patients were medically inspected, 3 patients attended the Health Centres
for treatment, the total number of attendances being 16.
The following table shows the number of defects found at medical inspection to require
treatment and the number which were treated at the Health Centres:—

In addition one boy who was reported as having left the Occupation Centre attended the
Health Centre on two occasions and received dental treatment, and two children not referred for
dental treatment attended the Health Centre on three occasions each and received treatment.
