Treatment.
For the mothers 4,278 teeth were extracted, 517 fillings done and 1,060 scalings, cleanings,
syringings, etc., while 224 were supplied with dentures. In the case of infants 1,320 teeth were
extracted, 323 teeth filled, and 54 incidental treatments such as silver nitrate applications. The total
attendances for all these patients recorded was 4,382, which occupied 314 treatment sessions, giving
an average of nearly 14 per session.
