The 200 Foster Children under observation at 2nd January, 1932, were maintained in the care of Foster Mothers as follows

* In 46 cases the parents or guardians were living in Willesden at the time the child entered the care of the
Foster Mother.
In 82 of these cases the parents or guardians were not living in Willesden at the time the child entered the care
of the Foster Mother.

Of the 363 individual Foster Children under observation during the year 1931, 184 changed
hands during that period. 145 made 1 change, 26* made 2 changes, 9§ made 3 changes, 1† made
4 changes, 3‡ made 5 changes. These changes do not include the first reception of the child.
* Of these, 6 were admitted to Hospital returning to same Foster Mother.
Of these, 6 went on holidays with their parents returning to the same Foster Mother.
§ Of these, 1 included an admission to Hospital and return to the same Foster Mother.
† This child was admitted once to Hospital returning to the same Foster Mother, and also went once for
holiday with its parent, returning again to the same Foster Mother.
‡Of these, 2 were twice admitted to Hospital.
