THE FIRST ANNUAL REPORT
FOR THE
Year ending 31st December, 1930.
on the
REGISTRATION OF NURSING HOMES.
NURSING HOMES REGISTRATION ACT, 1927.
In accordance with the direction of the Minister of Health, the powers and duties of the
Middlesex County Council under the Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1927, as regards the Urban
District of Willesden were delegated to the Willesden Urban District Council as from the 1st October,
1930.
In pursuance of Section 9 (4) of the Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1927, the maximum
sum to be repaid by the County Council to the Willesden Urban District Council in respect of the
expenses incurred in the execution of the powers and the performance of the duties under the said Act
delegated to them by the Middlesex County Council, was fixed at £10. Any fees received by the
Willesden Council under the Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1927, are required to be applied to the
reduction of this £10.

On the 1st October, 1930, there were registered with the Willesden Urban District Council,
under the Nursing Homes Registration Act 9 Nursing Homes with accommodation for 48 patients.
At the close of the year there were 7 Nursing Homes on the register of the Willesden Urban District
Council, with accommodation for 43 patients.
