Verminous Persons.—During 1930, adults made 9 attendances, children under 5 years
1,006 attendances, and school children 3,414 attendances at the Council's Centres for verminous
conditions of scalp and body and treatment of skin conditions such as scabies.
Thorough domestic cleansing of the home is advised by the Health Visitor, disinfection not
being generally resorted to in verminous cases.
Statement of the Number of Children Notified during the Year ended December 31st,
1930, by the Local Education Authority to the Local Mental Deficiency Authority.
Total Number of Children notified : 16.
