As regards the type of case attending the Sunlight Clinics there is not much to be said which has
not been said in previous years. The great majority are children suffering from vague forms of
debility and anaemia and there are also a good many cases of chronic bronchitis, asthma, blepharitis,
furunculosis, rheumatism, and neurosis. Considerable benefit accrues to the patients from the administration
of light and in addition much good results from the fact that their parents are brought into
frequent contact with the personnel of the Council's Health Centres from whom they carry away, both
consciously and unconsciously, valuable training in hygiene to put into practice in their own homes.
