APPENDIX D.
REPORT ON ARTIFICIAL LIGHT TREATMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED
31st DECEMBER, 1929.
BY
H. HALDIN DAVIS, M.D., M.R.C.P., F.R.C.S., Perinatologist to the Council.
The year's work of the Artificial Sunlight Department of the Council has not differed materially
from that of previous years. It has maintained its popularity and its numbers. 295 new cases
were seen and the total number of attendances amounted to 5,263. Most of the cases were referred
by the Medical Officers of the Council, but 22 were sent by private practitioners in the district, and
7 by various hospitals, the Medical Officers of which took advantage of the local centre to save Willesden
