Verminous Persons.—During 1926, adults made 65 attendances, children under 5 years
1,169 attendances, and school children 3,731 attendances at the Council's clinics for verminous
conditions of scalp and body and treatment of skin conditions such as scabies.
Thorough domestic cleansing of the home is advised by the Health Visitor, disinfection not
being generally resorted to in verminous cases.
