Overcrowding.—Many cases of overcrowding were found during routine inspection, but no
action was practicable, there being no alternative accommodation.
Of the 32 cases of overcrowding set out in Table 16, page 33 of my Annual Report for 1925,
only 3 out of 12 applications have been given accommodation in houses erected by the Council.

Inspection—

INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
Milk Supply.—There are 5 wholesale dealers, 152 retail milk purveyors, and 2 cowkeepers
in this district. Their premises and utensils are frequently inspected.
Sampling for the presence of Tubercle Bacilli was recommenced by the Willesden Council
during the year with satisfactory results.
The following table shows the number of licences granted for the sale of graded milk under
the Milk (Special Designations) Order, 1923, during the year 1926:—
