Recommendations.
(1) That a day open air school for 240 physically defective children be established.
(2) That the children in attendance at Furness Road and Leopold Road physically defective
schools be transferred to the open air school when ready.
(3) That about six acres of land be purchased for the open air school.
(4) We have considered various sites but having regard to accessibility, acreage, aspect,
and the nature of the buildings to be erected we are of opinion that the Dudden Hill
allotments provide the best site and recommend purchase accordingly.
(5) That the provision of a residential open air school be deferred.
