MOTOR SERVICE.
I beg to report on the above for the year ending 31st
March, 1916.
New Work.
The 7 motor vehicles owned by the Council have been
in use throughout the entire year ended 31st March, 1916,
and have covered 47,433 miles. Certain new work was
undertaken during the year in connection with Belgian
refugees, registration, removal of wounded soldiers, recruiting,
and the Accountant's Department.
New Plant.
The Garage workshop has been equipped during the
year with machine tools for motor and hospital engineering
at a cost of £103 6s. 8d., which has been paid out of revenue.
