Excluding all persons under 15 from the above Table,
No. 10, it will be seen that 52.7 per cent, of all females
are married and 61.2 per cent. of all males, the difference
in the percentages being due to the different numbers of
males and females. The number of married females,
between the ages of 15 and 45 is 21,250, being a percentage
of the entire female population at these ages of 51.1.
Density of Population.—The following Table,
No. 11, gives certain particulars with regard to the density
of the population as judged by (a) the number of persons
per acre, (b) the number of houses per acre, and (c) the
number of persons per house at the Census of 1911.
