HEIGHTS AND WEIGHTS OF SCHOLARS.
In addition to repeating the tables published in the Annual
Report of last year, comparative tables collected from observations
taken over a wider area are given, and a new table is added giving
the weight at each age for each centimetre of height. These
tables become more valuable the greater the number of observations
on which they are based, but even in the limited observations
relating to particular schools the rough classification of social
conditions which they represent exhibits the results of these conditions
in the comparative heights and weights of the scholars.
