DEATHS.
The deaths registered in the District were 1,448: males, 719;
females, 729. Those registered outside the District of persons
belonging to it were 242, giving a total of 1,690. There were 12
deaths registered in the District of persons not belonging to it,
making 1,678 deaths properly accredited to the District. The crude
death-rate for the year is 9.6 per 1,000. Corrected for deaths of
residents dying outside the District and of non-residents dying within,
it is 11.2 per 1,000. Corrected for the age and sex distribution of
Willesden's population it is 12.0.
The death-rates for the last seven years, corrected for residents
dying outside the district, and for non-residents dying within, are as
