DEATHS.
The deaths registered in the District were 1,479: males, 745;
females, 734. Those registered outside the District of persons
belonging to it were 180, giving a total of 1,659. There were 14
deaths registered in the District of persons not belonging to it,
making 1,645 deaths. The crude death-rate for the year is 10.99
per 1,000. Corrected for deaths of residents dying outside the
District and of non-residents dying within, it is 12.2 per 1,000.
Corrected for the age and sex distribution of Willesden's population
it is 13.1. This is the lowest death-rate on record in
Willesden since the passing of the Public Health Act, 1875.
