REPORT
on the
Vital Statistics and Sanitary Condition
of
Alpha Place and its Environment.
To the Chairman and Members of the
Public Health Committee.
Gentlemen,
I beg leave to submit the following report on the
vital and sanitary conditions of Alpha Place and its
immediate environment. Perhaps the most reliable
evidence of the healthiness of a locality is its general
death rate. In the following table are set out the
mean annual death rates of each of the localities
named during the last decennium.
