The class housed in 1 roomed tenements is
absolutely diminishing, that in 2 roomed tenements
becoming only proportionately smaller. This is so
far satisfactory, in that 1 and 2 roomed tenements
must be looked upon as injurious to the health of
their inmates. This has been shown statistically,
repeatedly, and is well exhibited in the following
tables:—
