BACTERIOLOGY.
No less then 1,084 bacteriological examinations
were made during the year, an increase of 600 as
compared with 1903. This increase was mainly
attributable to the increased prevalence of Diphtheria
in the district during the year, and to the increased
number of patients admitted to hospital as a
consequence.
