Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
In accordance with Ministry of Health Circular No. 49/45,
the Annual Report on the Health of the Borough for 1944 is again
an interim one, and, as formerly in the war years, is mainly
statistical in form, the pattern being similar to the Report for
1943. Matters already presented in detail to the various Committees
are mentioned again in this report only shortly.
