Short though this report must be at the
present time, I cannot conclude without
expressing my admiration for the way in which
every member of the staff has responded to the
constant and unusual calls throughout the year
and I feel it is my duty to offer my thanks to
all for the way in which the team has worked
together. At a time like this I do not wish
to mention names-all have given their best
services. With regard to A. R. P. however, I may
be allowed to mention the Honorary Liaison Medical
Officer, Dr. H. M. Harris who has helped the
Department in very many ways by co-ordinating
our efforts with those of the local medical
profession. I am very grateful, too, for the
reception which the work of the Department has
received from the Council.
I have the honour to be, Mr. Mayor,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
your obedient servant,
A.G. MORISON,
Medical Officer of Health.
