for the year 1934

To the Chairman and Members of the Wembley Urban
District Council.
Mr. Chairman, Madam, and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit my 39th Annual Report on
the Sanitary circumstances of the district for the year 1934,
and in doing so have followed the order of details as far as
possible from instructions from the Ministry of Health.

Population 1934 (Midsummer), Estimated
by Registrar-General 92,160
Number of inhabited houses, end of
1934, according to rate books 26,000
Rateable Value (31st December, 1934) £1,006,840
Sum represented by a penny rate £3,700
POPULATION.
The Registrar-General has supplied the following memorandum
on the change of boundary:—
" The statistics of births, deaths and notifiable
diseases supplied for the calendar year in respect of the
above named area are composite figures combining the
records of the former areas of Kingsbury Urban District
and Wembley Urban District for the March quarter and
