Concerning the five cases of Pood Poisoning normally resident in this
district, although all were affected by the same organism, we were unable
to find any connection between them.
Some 232 registration cards were issued to members of the public in
connection with the Poliomyelitis Vaccination Scheme. These were issued
mainly to the young persons between 15 and 25 years of age who became eligible
at the end of last year.
Poliomyelitis Registration cards may still be obtained from the Vale
Drive Clinic or the Public Health Department, 31 Wood Street, Barnet.

Twelve new cases were notified during the year, 2 less than last year,
making a total of two hundred and twelve on the Tuberculosis Register.
The cases of Tuberculosis removed for treatment are usually sent to
Clare Hall Sanatorium, South Minims, other patients with an infectious
disease being sent to Coppett's Yfood Hospital, Muswell Hill, N.10.
MASS RADIOGRAPHY.
The Mass Radiography Unit of the North West Metropolitan Regional
Hospital Board visited the district in October, when the Department assisted
with publicity and parking facilities.
During their stay the Unit dealt with 1,514 members of the general
