INFECTIOUS DISEASE. INVESTIGATION AND DISINFECTION.
Investigations have been carried out of the more important cases of
infectious disease listed in the Medical Officer of Health's Report.
Where necessary, premises are disinfected and bedding is taken for
disinfection to the Barnet General Hospital under arrangements made with
the Barnet Group Hospital Management Committee.
One hundred and two library books were disinfected before return to
librariea, a considerable decrease over the previous year, due to the
small number of infectious disease notifications.
