Public Swimming Baths and Bathing Fools.
The only swimming pool in the district, viz, at "The Bam", Barnet
Bye-Pass, is not now in use.
HOME COUNTIES (MUSIC MP DANCING) LICENSING ACT. 1926.
HERTFORDSHIRE (MUSIC AND DANCING) REGULATIONS. 1956.
Under the new regulations made by the County Council a report from
the local district council is required regarding the suitability and
sufficiency of sanitary arrangements at premises for Music and Dancing
before licences are issued.
Some twenty premises were inspected in this connection and a report
forwarded to the County Council.

RODENT CONTROL.

Prevention of Damage by Pests Act. 1949.

A full time rodent operator is employed for treatment of infestations of rats and mice. The table below gives details of the work carried out during the year:
