PRIVATE SLAUGHTER-HOUSES AND
SLAUGHTER OF ANIMALS ACT, 1933.
There is only one slaughterhouse, privately owned, operating in the district
and your inspectors maintain a high percentage of inspection by evening and
week-end visits.
The information and form in which it is given below is not as desired by the
Ministry but sufficient records have not been kept for the purpose.

However a new system of recording was introduced at the end of this year which will enable the requisite detailed analysis to be made of the percentage of animals affected by disease in one form or other for the next annual report.
